"The Montabliz Viaduct is a five-span concrete bridge, 721 m long with a maximum span of 175 m. The deck has been designed as a continuous prestressed concrete girder 26.1 m wide, with a maximum depth of 11 m over the central piers. It was built using the cantilever technique. It has the highest pier of a bridge in Spain, to achieve a height above the ground of 145 m. With these dimensions, the viaduct is a unique structure, essential in the communication system to connect the north of Spain with the central plateau."
