Concrete Trough Bridges on the Iron Ore Railway Line (object state)
A condition of an object at a particular time, reflecting the object's ability to fulfil it's requirements.
Properties
Element type
:
Object state
Summary
:
In tests, it was found that the bridge could withstand 6 million load cycles at 360 kN without any signs of distress. Only hairline concrete cracks could be seen. It could be concluded that the codes were quite conservative regarding fatigue.
Performance indicator
:
Displacement, Traffic information via WIM/BWIM, Load bearing capacity, Full scale laboratory test
Inspection method
:
IoT and sensor systems, Physical methods
Relations with other elements
:
Observed deterioration processes Fatigue
